NACD treatment

What is a NACD treatment?
NACD stands for Needle Aspiration of Calcific Deposit. This treatment is used in patients with calcium in the tendon or bursa. This treatment is combined with Pulsed-RF of a nerve to also affect the pain symptoms for a longer term. This allows you to better follow the physical therapy exercise program.
When are you eligible for NACD treatment?
This treatment is considered when other conservative treatments, such as physical therapy or medication, do not produce the desired results. It can be effective in reducing pain and restoring normal joint motion in patients with calcaneal tendon or bursa.
