What are you suffering from?
At GOED Medical Center, we treat a variety of hip problems. Check out the treatments we offer for your symptoms below and discover our effective treatment methods.
Hip osteoarthritis
Hip osteoarthritis, also known as coxarthrosis, is a degenerative joint disease in which the hip joint gradually deteriorates. This is a natural consequence of the aging process. Research shows that inflammatory processes in the joint play an important role in the development of osteoarthritis.
What are common hip osteoarthritis symptoms?
Hip osteoarthritis can cause pain, stiffness and decreased mobility in the hip. Patients may have difficulty walking, climbing stairs and performing daily activities.
What treatments does GOOD Medical Center offer for hip osteoarthritis?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment.
In PRP treatment, after blood sampling, we use the body's own plasma with an increased number of growth factors. This treatment is used when, in contrast to hyaluronic acid treatment, there is fluid present in the joint.

Hyaluronic acid treatment
Hyaluronic acid is a moisture-containing substance in our bodies, and acts as the natural lubricant between our joints. With osteoarthritis, wear sometimes causes a lack of moisture. A hyaluronic acid treatment can then ensure that the joints are "lubricated" as it were.

Corticosteroid treatment in the joint
Treatment with corticosteroids is often the first step. This treatment is only done once at GOED Medical Center. Have you had this treatment before? If so, the doctor may recommend skipping this step.
KioMedine treatment
When previous treatments have proven ineffective, we may switch to KioMedine treatment. KioMedine is a recently developed treatment method that reduces both pain and further symptoms of hip osteoarthritis such as stiffness.
Cryo treatment
The goal of cryo treatment is to reduce or eliminate pain by freezing the nerves in the painful joint.
Pulsed RF treatment
Pulsed RF stands for Pulsed Radiofrequency Denervation. A Pulsed RF treatment at GOED Medical Center for hip osteoarthritis is a pain-fighting treatment that treats the nerve without damaging it.Read more about the treatment
Phenol treatment
In the treatment of osteoarthritis, phenol can be applied locally to deactivate specific nerves that transmit pain signals.

Various tendon disorders on the outside of the hip:
Tendinopathy
Tendinopathy is a condition in which a tendon becomes inflamed, damaged or undergoes degeneration as a result of repeated overuse, trauma or aging. This can lead to pain, swelling, decreased strength and limited range of motion in the affected area.
Tendinosis
Tendinosis is a chronic condition characterized by degeneration of the tendon without significant inflammation. This refers to inflammation of the bony protrusion on the outside of the thighbone to which several tendons are attached. This condition is also called trochanteric bursitis, as the inflammation is often accompanied by irritation of the bursa in that area.
Tendinitis calcarea
Tendinitis calcarea is a condition in which calcium deposits accumulate in the tendons. You can think of it as calcification of the tendons. Calcification symptoms often lead to inflammation, pain and restriction in movement.
Bursitis
Bursitis in the hip is a condition in which the bursa, a fluid-filled sac that reduces friction, becomes inflamed.
Tendonitis hip
Tendonitis in the hip can take various forms. Consider, for example, calcification of the tendon, or bursitis. These conditions can cause significant pain and limitation of function.
The following treatments can make a positive contribution to the recovery of tendonitis in the hip
USGET treatment i.c.w. PRP
For tendon disorders in the hip, USGET stimulates tissue regeneration in the hip with Echo Guided Galvanic Electrolysis therapy. When you experience symptoms and a lot of scarring shows up on the ultrasound, we start USGET treatment at GOED Medical Center. PRP treatment then follows a week later.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment.
A PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment is a procedure in which we apply the body's own plasma with a high dose of platelets to naturally stimulate hip repair.

Pulsed RF
Pulsed-RF stands for Pulsed Radiofrequency Denervation. During a PRF treatment at GOED Medical Center, one or more nerves that provide pain conduction are treated in the area where the pain is located.
Cryo treatment
Cryo treatment can be used as a last resort when you suffer from tendonitis in the hip. The goal of this treatment is to reduce or eliminate the pain.
Note: The above conditions usually stem from back or hip problems. Exercise therapy is necessary here for recovery.
