1. PRP treatment (outer meniscus damage).

With meniscus damage on the outside (peripheral meniscus damage), you are eligible for PRP treatment.

PRP
The PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment leads to reduction of pain in degenerative meniscus extrusion and improves the function of the knee. PRP treatment is applied in the joint and in the meniscus.

Control and hyaluronic acid
After 6 weeks, the meniscus will be checked and you will receive a hyaluronic acid treatment. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the body and reduces inflammation and pain.

Monitoring and repeat treatment
After 6 months, another check-up takes place. If necessary, the PRP treatment is repeated.

Note: after this treatment, you will walk on crutches for 1 week

2. PRP treatment (mensicus extrusion with wear).

In a meniscus extrusion where there is also wear and tear, PRP treatment is possible.
